Private Yoga Inquires

FAQs

  • I provide the convenience of coming to you whether it be in your home, office, or a quiet space in your building’s gym. For further accessibility, I offer private lessons over Zoom.

  • A student with an injury, disability, or illness will likely benefit from yoga. It may aid in the healing or recovery process, however, please consult with your doctor before starting any new physical activity.

I have experience working therapeutically and supporting people with various cancers, cerebral palsy, deaf and blind, autism, mental illness, arthritis, and every orthopedic injury imaginable.

Modifications for the postures are always offered. Use of yoga props and/or a chair can be used whenever necessary.

  • It depends, however, three days a week is what I recommend minimally to build a foundation and reap the benefits.

  • Private sessions are comparable to other concierge self-care services in NYC such as massage, acupuncture, or physical therapy.  My rates are reflective of expertise, experience, length of session, and our respective geography. Please reach out for detailed information.

  • I offer 60 and 90 minute lessons that are scheduled at a standing time each week.  If you desire to learn traditional Ashtanga Yoga, 90 minutes is eventually needed.

  • We will start with a 15 minute consultation call to see if we are a good fit for one another.  After our chat, I will follow up with a quote and ask you to fill out an intake form and sign a waiver. Once complete, we will schedule your sessions in-person or online.

  • I offer single sessions on case by case basis, however, I suggest committing to 5-10 sessions at to start. You will benefit most from a consistent practice, get a feel for my teaching, and allow me to learn about you.

  • It’s best to practice on an empty stomach. I recommend no food for 3 hours or liquids 30 minutes before practice.
